Introducing Le Sel d'Issey, the latest men's fragrance that is both vegan and refillable. This exciting eau de toilette from Issey Miyake encapsulates the essence of water—its lively spirit enriched with invisible salts. The unique transformation of water into vapor leaves behind a distinctive scent that remains on the skin, providing an exhilarating experience that stimulates the senses and invigorates the spirit. Le Sel d'Issey embodies vitality and energy—truly the strength of salt in a fragrance. Crafted by the talented perfumer Quentin Bisch, this scent showcases a refreshing marine and woody profile with a prominent saline note, underlined by a robust masculine character. Composed of 95% ingredients sourced from nature and featuring 100% natural French alcohol, Le Sel d'Issey Eau de Toilette is officially vegan. The fragrance represents an endless flow of aromas through two opposing olfactory elements. The seawater essence, symbolizing salt, unites a spirited salt accord with naturally sourced seaweed and oakmoss, plants that have adhered to their aquatic roots while transitioning to terrestrial life. This fusion reflects the perpetual relationship between ocean and earth. On the other hand, the woody aspect, representing the earth, incorporates bold wood notes for added richness and depth. Elements like earthy vetiver and recycled cedarwood, derived from secondary wood materials used in furniture creation, contribute to the complex aroma. Fresh, sparkling ginger notes enhance the initial impression, adding a lively touch to the saltiness. The dynamic tension between the salty and woody facets creates an invigorating and potent fragrance experience. The Le Sel d'Issey bottle, designed by the acclaimed Japanese creator Tokujin Yoshioka, reflects a minimalist and clear aesthetic, capturing the luminous essence of sunlight and the vibrancy of salt. Formed from 20% recycled glass, the bottle showcases the light gray hue of the fragrance inside, symbolizing the salt that defines the scent. Its base features a transparent dome, which embodies a strong masculine presence. The external packaging, light gray in color, harmonizes the fragrance with the purity found in its natural essence. Notably, this packaging incorporates 10% recycled seaweed and materials sourced from well-managed forests certified by FSC™, with a texture akin to that of salt crystals. Le Sel d'Issey is offered in 50ml and 100ml sizes, with the option for refill in a 150ml format—and it proudly originates from France.
